Abstract. The article focuses on defining the ways of the optimization of translational technologies of religious literature implemented by defining the main features of such texts, as well as by pointing out some common mistakes made while translating religious texts, which should be avoided. The human factor is also considered in this article and its influence on the work of a translator. The role of cultural awareness in translation of sacred texts.
