In this article is described the State program “Year of a healthy mother and child”. The important tasks are popularization of physical culture and sport among young people, creating conditions for attracting girls from rural areas to the regular sports activities, training of highly qualified women coaches, the construction of new sports facilities and strengthening the material-technical base available.
