Abstract. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of national and ethnic minorities in multiracial Britain. It reflects the problems of national communities, immigration and refugees. The British Nationality Act 1981 safeguards the citizenship to a British citizen in Crown service, certain related services, or in service under a European Union institution.
