The article describes aims and objects of linguistics in functional grammar and pragmastylistics investigated in recent years, as well as the manifestation and use of them in social networks. Attention is drawn to the function and pragmatic side of the process of conversation in social network, and the impact of the conversation on the sender in different social groups of society. The function and pragmatics of speech activity in the social network is represented by reference circuits. Social network functions not only for communication and information spreading, but also shows an internal goal and tasks of pragmatics.
