In the field of optoelectronics first investigated the properties of uniform approximation of functions by splines, numerical algorithm for finding the parameters, given the practical problems with the use of uniform approximation by splines. Built a block diagram of a piecewise-linear approximator change lengths of the sections of approximation. Links splines can be polynomials, rational polynomials or nonlinear functions of the input parameters.
