Learning styles are the various ways of learning and acquiring a new language. Robin Scarcella and Rebecca Oxford characterize learning styles as “general approaches that students use to learn a new language. These are the same styles they employ in learning many other subjects and solving various problems”. Dunn and Griggs say that “learning style is the biologically and developmentally imposed set of characteristics that make the same teaching method wonderful for some and terrible for others”.
