The concepts of the information culture and professional competence of graduates in a university learning environment are analyzed. Characteristics of the information culture as a component of professional competence of graduates as appropriate blocks of their knowledge, skills, and abilities on the basis of axiology, semantic, pragmatic, and syntaxes aspects of the information as well as information culture's components are also defined.
